We offer breeding facilities for both mares and stallions.

Stud Facilities: Tips & Advice

Your mare will have excellent care, throughout their stay. We are a stud offering personal care for your horse. We offer A.I Services as we have fully qualified A.I Technicians and work very closely with equine specific vets which enables us to have a very high conception rate. It also means we can ensure that all of the semen is handled and processed correctly prior to insemination.

Our competative Vets packages are open to any stallion of your choice from both UK and Europe. We will liaise with the stallions owner/agent to take the hassle out if it for you.

Foaling of the mare, we take a limited amount of mares each season to foal with us. We have CCTV cameras and staff onsite through the night to supervise the foaling.

Types of service on offer for your stallion

Fresh Service: enables your clients mares to stay with us, they will be scanned and monitored on our competitive veterinary package, we will liaise with you throughout and let you know when to bring your stallion for collection when the mare is ready.

Chilled Service: Chilled service includes semen collection, all evaluation, paperwork & packaging for sending the semen overnight to your clients anywhere in the UK.

Frozen semen: we can offer to store frozen semen to inseminate onsite mares.

Dummy Mare Training

We offer a safe and knowledgeable place for your stallion to be trained on to the dummy mare.

We offer a stallion walk in service for stud purposes. We can work around stallions that are competing. You can take the hassle out of breeding from your stallion by using our facility, excellent equine reproduction vets, experienced staff and on-site A.I Technician.

- We have a live mare which can be used for A.I even to stallions which will not use a dummy mare.

Vets Packages

Fresh / Chilled Semen Package £280 - 3 cycles during the 2018 stud season

Frozen Semen Package - £380, for one cycle only. (Subsequent cycles charged at £300)

Included in Stud Packages:

All scans leading up to insemination
Prostaglandin injections to bring your mare in to season if required
Hormone injections or implant to facilitate the timing of ovulation if required
A post insemination scan
One saline flush of the uterus and single antibiotic treatment if required
Management of twin pregnancies if required
Up to three pregnancy scans
All routine veterinary visits

Not included in Stud Packages:

CEM swabbing and EVA blood testing prior to breeding
A.I is NOT included with an outside stallion this is charged by the stud
Treatment of fertility problems such as chronic uterine infection
Treatment of persistent uterine fluid (if more than one uterine flush is required)
Sedation (which is sometimes required for safety reasons)
Treatment of any non-breeding related issues
More than three pregnancy scans
Surgery to improve poor vulval conformation
Any routine vaccinations
Livery fees, semen shipping charges and stud fees for your chosen stallion
